In the beautiful Falcon Valley neighborhood of Lenexa, Kansas, a recent project demonstrated how a little proactive work and a lot of expertise can turn a storm-damaged roof into a brand new home. This story began not with a frantic call after a storm, but with a simple conversation with a homeowner.
Having already helped three of their neighbors successfully navigate the insurance process and replace their roofs due to hail damage, we knew it was worth checking on this particular home. We approached the homeowners, explained the situation with the recent hail storms, and offered a free, no-obligation inspection.
Sure enough, after a thorough look, we found the unmistakable signs of hail damage scattered across the roof. We carefully documented the damages, looking at the vents, valley metals, gutters, and downspouts, and showed the evidence to the homeowners, who were then able to confidently file a claim with their insurance company. Just a few days later, an insurance adjuster arrived to perform their own inspection. The adjuster quickly confirmed the undeniable hail damage, and the claim was approved without a hitch.
Installation
With the claim approved, it was time to get to work. We scheduled the roof replacement, and our crew got right to it. The old, damaged shingles were stripped away, and the new, high-quality level 4 asphalt shingles were installed with precision.
But we didn’t stop there. As we worked, we noticed some wood rot along the back of the house, a common issue that can lead to bigger problems if left unaddressed. We brought it to the homeowner’s attention and handled the repairs, ensuring the structural integrity of their home was restored.
To put the finishing touch on the project, we also assisted the homeowners in getting a full exterior paint job. The new roof, combined with the fresh paint and repaired wood, made the house look brand new.
This Falcon Valley home is now a testament to what a comprehensive approach can achieve. We’re proud to have not only replaced a roof but to have helped a family restore and revitalize their home, turning a potential headache into a beautiful, lasting improvement.
